Arne Duncan: Teacher pay should start at $60K | Iowa Independent

Arne Duncan: Teacher pay should start at $60K | Iowa Independent: "In Iowa, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average beginning teacher salary is $31,753. The average teacher salary in Iowa is more than $10,000 below what Duncan recommended as starting wages."

I have confirmed that this statement is not entirely truthful and have gotten clarification from GM through Director of Communications, Greg Martin."
