This is why I call this blog "Liberal Mecca." We've had assaults, muggings, riots, even shootings, at alarming levels this year. Many times minors have been involved. Yet, this council struggles with a midnight curfew for minors! Well, I've got news for them. This is such a puny ordinance, it's not going to have any effect at all. In fact, I believe these gang banger proteges will challenge this very aggressively. The fine is going to be $50. I doubt they'll collect 50 cents. The sad thing is that you'd expect the voters to rise up and throw these bleeding heart liberals out, but no chance of that in this area. Things won't change here until everything literally collapses.
