Putin: Ukraine Revote Would Be Fruitless

News: "`A revote could be conducted a third, a fourth, 25th time, until one side gets the results it needs,' Putin said sarcastically, in televised comments from the meeting at Vnukovo-2 airport." Now that's interesting. I usually fall on the other side of Putin, but I'm squarely in his corner with this (except...). I keep seeing reports of voter fraud, but have yet to see any substantial evidence. It seems everyone wants a revote except Russia, which makes sense, because as it stands now, they benefit. So what happens now if the pro-west guy wins? There's still going to be a lot of people really pissed off (and even more so), enough to start a civil war most likely. The thing that is completely being missed is how this proves our electorate system is better. There shouldn't be direct elections for the president exactly because of this circumstance, something we found ourselves in just 4 years ago.
