McCain's camp blames Obama on bailout failure - Yahoo! News: "WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican John McCain's campaign blamed presidential rival Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats on Monday for the congressional rejection of a $700 billion rescue plan for Wall Street and said Obama failed a test of leadership." I actually felt somewhat relieved that this monster failed. Why does Bush think he and others can just ram gigantic things through without much or any debate? The Dow plummeted today, $777 and 7%. Sounds lucky to me. I predict we will soon have a 1000 pt. day, maybe tomorrow. (That's 1000 pts. up.) I think what is happening is perhaps a correction where ownership is transferring from Wall Street to Main Street (as the smart guys on TV say). This kind of bargain doesn't come around very often, last time was 21 years ago. People see this and I believe us normal guys will be gobbling up stocks.
