McCain to kick off final drive for presidency - Yahoo! News

McCain to kick off final drive for presidency - Yahoo! News: "T. PAUL, Minn. - Republican presidential nominee John McCain begins his final drive for the White House with a jump-start from running mate Sarah Palin that cast the 72-year-old senator as the obvious choice for a nation hungry for change." McCain did a good job picking his running mate. The viscous personal attacks on her from the liberal wackos in the democrat party as well as the "old" media proves that she must be a strong conservative. I listened to parts of her convention speech and I am impressed with her speaking ability and the content of it. So, what happens now if McCain wins with a landslide. It may not seem possibly now, but Palin is igniting the base finally. Palin seems a stronger conservative than McCain (I'm not sure if would even call McCain a conservative), but she's running as VP. If McCain wins strong, is it a setback for conservatism?
